A Note Regarding Children and Minors
Children (persons under the age of 13) are not eligible to use the Site or any Services in any way. You may use the Services only if you are (i) over 18 years of age, an emancipated minor, or if you possess legal parental or guardian consent, (ii) are fully capable of forming a binding contract with Harvest Development Group, and (iii) are not barred from using the Services under applicable law. Minors between the age of 14 and 18 may not use the Site or any Services unsupervised. If you are between the ages of 14 and 18, you may only use the Site and Services in conjunction with and under the supervision of your parents or legal guardians. Users may not submit any information about or identify children in any way, and Harvest Development Group has the right to discontinue access to the Site or any Services in the event a user does so. In any case, you affirm that you are over the age of 13 since access to the Services is not intended for children under 13. If you are under 13 years of age, do not use the Services. Furthermore, certain Courses may have additional eligibility requirements, as specified on the course website.
Information We Collect
Our primary purposes in collecting personal information are to: (i) provide you and other users with a safe, enjoyable, smooth, and efficient experience, (ii) provide and improve the Services and the Courses, (iii) administer your Account, and (iv) be able to contact you in connection with your Submitted Content. We only collect personal information about you that we consider necessary for achieving these purposes.
When you create an Account or register for a Course through the Site, we will ask you for personally identifiable information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information”). Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, mailing address, and email address. We also collect Personal Information when you send us an email message. We use your Personal Information mainly to provide the Service and administer your inquiries. We also collect Personal Information that you provide to us when you participate in Courses or online forums or receive or participate in other Services. We also collect the other information that you provide as part of registration and the administration and personalization of your Account and as part of your registration for a Course (e.g., without limitation individual preferences) and other non-Personal Information that you provide to us when you participate in online forums or Courses or receive or participate in other Services (“Non-Identifying Information”). We use your Personal Information (in some cases, in conjunction with your Non-Identifying Information) mainly to provide the Services and administer your inquiries.
Certain Non-Identifying Information would be considered a part of your Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers (for example, combining your zip code with your street address) in a way that enables you to be identified. But the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other non-identifying information (for example, your viewing preferences). We may combine your Personal Information with Non-Identifying Information and aggregate it with information collected from other Harvest Development Group U users to attempt to provide you with a better experience, to improve the quality and value of the Services and to analyze and understand how the Services are used. We may also use the combined information without aggregating it to serve you specifically, for instance to deliver a product or service to you according to your preferences or restrictions.
We also use your Personal Information to contact you with Harvest Development Group newsletters, information about new courses, updates about the Site and Harvest Development Group, and other information that may be of interest to you. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications or update your “user preferences” information.
When you visit the Site, whether through an Account or as a non-registered user just browsing, we automatically track certain information that your browser sends whenever you visit a Site. We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand, protect and serve you and our community. This information may include the URL that you just came from (whether this URL is on the Site or not), which URL you next go to (whether this URL is on the Site or not), access times and dates, your computer browser information, your Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, and other statistics (“Log Data”). We use Log Data to monitor and analyze use of the Services and for the Site’s technical administration, to increase our Site’s functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor it to our visitors’ needs. For example, some of this information is collected so that when you visit the Site again, it will recognize you and provide you with information appropriate to your interests. We also use this information to verify that visitors to the Site meet the criteria required to process their requests.
If you choose to post messages on our message boards, we will collect that information you provide to us. We retain this information as necessary to resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law. If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third-parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Site, we may collect such information into a file specific to you.
_session_id: Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.) and is a sessional cookie.
_shopify_visit: Used by internal stats tracker to record the number of visits to the Site and is a cookie that is persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit.
_shopify_uniq: Counts the number of visits to a store by a single customer and is a cookie that expires at midnight (relative to the visitor) or the next day.
cart: Stores information about the contents of your cart and is a cookie that is persistent for two weeks.
_secure_session_id: Stores session information for the checkout process and is a sessional cookie.
storefront_digest: Used to determine if the user has Site access and is an indefinite cookie.
PREF: Google Analytics tracks who visits the store and where from. This is a persistent cookie.

We utilize user activity on the Site to conduct internal research and improve the Site and future courses. We may also track the URL that you came to the Site from (whether this URL is on the Site or not), which URL you go to next (whether this URL is on the Site or not), your computer browser information, and your IP address. We do all of these things to better understand, protect and serve you and the Site and to be able to investigate any allegations against you or us.

Our Use of Your Information
We use your Personal Information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site to: contact you about any Submitted Content; resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our Terms; and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection.
We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third-parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, academic research, and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.
You agree that we may use your Personal Information to contact you. By accepting the Terms, you expressly agree that we may contact you as provided herein.
Our Disclosure of Your Information
Harvest Development Group may disclose information it has collected from you and/or Submitted Content you have made available on the Site when it believes in good faith that the law or legal process requires it, or when it is necessary to do so to protect the rights or property of Harvest Development Group or others. As a matter of policy, we do not sell or rent any of your Personal Information to third-parties without your explicit consent. The following describes some of the ways that your Personal Information may be disclosed in the normal scope of our business.
Service Providers for Our Operations. We may use third-parties as service providers to facilitate the Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Site-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics, and/or improvement of the Site’s features) or to assist us in analyzing how the Services are used, and therefore we may provide some of your Personal Information, Non-Identifying Information and Log Data directly to these service providers. These service providers’ are subject to confidentiality agreements with us and other legal restrictions that prohibit their use of the information we provide them for any other purpose except to facilitate the specific outsourced Harvest Development Group related operation, unless you have explicitly agreed or given your prior permission to them for additional uses.
Course Providers. We may share Personal Information, Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with instructors who provide the Courses on the Site (“Course Providers”). They use this information mainly to provide, administer and improve Courses and the Services, to respond to your inquiries, and to analyze and conduct research on the Services.
Legal Requests. Harvest Development Group cooperates with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third-parties to enforce laws and intellectual property rights. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials relating to a criminal investigation or alleged illegal activity, we can (and you authorize us to) disclose your name, city, state, telephone number, and email address. Without limiting the above, in an effort to respect your privacy, we will not otherwise disclose your Personal Information to law enforcement or other government officials without a subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss; or report suspected illegal activity.
Changing or Deleting Your Information
All Account holders may review, update, correct or delete the Personal Information in their Account profile by contacting us. If you completely delete all required information, then your Account may become deactivated. If you would like us to delete your Account record in our system, please contact us firstname.lastname@example.org with a request that we delete the Personal Information you are required to provide to establish an Account from our database. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor your request. We may retain an archived copy of your records as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. Also, if you have included Personal Information in online forum postings or in Course assignments or information or communications shared with other Account holders or with Course instructors or staff, you may not be able to update, correct or delete this information from the Site.

We use reasonable physical, procedural, technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal information against loss or theft as well as unauthorized access and disclosure to protect your privacy. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
